Site: River Rhine, Germany Age: Approximately 40.000 years old
On offer is a fascinating lower jaw of a mammoth with two well preserved M2 molars still firmly locked in the jaw tissue, t The upper section of the jaw is somewhat incomplete, but otherwise it is well preserved, as seen in the images. This jaw must have come from an animal which was about 20 years old when it died. Very nice piece for the real collector.
