Description

This is a small to medium lanceolate point with an elliptical point. The blade is excurvate, curving at the tip and becoming parallel at the hafting area. The base is most commonly deeply concave but may have a shallow concave base. On some examples the basal ears may turn inward. Grinding on the basal edge and hafting region may occasionally be seen but is primarily absent. Some examples may be fluted. The flaking pattern may vary from collateral to random.
