Owner, Butler Artifact Authentication Nacogdoches, Texas, United States Quinnipiac University The best experiences I’ve had were those in which I took charge of my own destiny. The first experience I had in taking charge of my life was starting a clam digging business at the age of 13 on the Great South Bay off the shores of Long Island, New York. This taught me many life experiences that propelled me into a number of wonderful experiences and self employment ventures. Since my clamming days I have owned a ranch in Texas. I ran a poultry and beef operation for seventeen years. This is not a yard chicken operation either. I had 5 poultry houses which were 46′ feet by 450′ feet long. Each house held 22,000 chickens, totaling 110,000 head. This was a meat operation and I raised between 5 and 6 batches per year. My pride and joy was the pure bred Beefmaster cattle beef operation. This is where I raised purebred replacement heifers and bulls for sale to operations that wanted a better blood line in their herd. And lastly, Is my new business of authenticating artifacts. This has given me great pleasure and I hope will carry me through myretirement. Owner Butler Artifact Authentication
