Description

This is a thick medium to large (2.5 to 5 inches) expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is narrow and primarily excurvate, but may vary to straight. The shoulders may vary from horizontal to having an upwards slope. Many examples have a weak shoulder. The stem is short and slightly expanding and slightly narrower than the shoulders. The base is primarily straight but may range from slightly convex to slightly concave. This point has a random flaking pattern and is commonly well made. From Randy King collection Perry FL
