American Badger Taxidea taxas Pleistocene  La Brea Tar Pits SOLDp
about 5" on skull.  f875
COMMENTS:  no restoration, although the skull was removed from the tar chunk to clean it, then set back on the chunk.  Very rare piece and highly collectible.

American Lion (Felis atrox)

American Lion  Felis atrox Pleistocene  Alaska

COMMENTS:  totally complete, small chip on carnassial cusp, two tiny drilled holes filled and a flat spot on bottom touched up canine has split but is intact, teeth have not been out of jaw, even the incisors are there, beautiful color.  This is a great investment piece.  More pics upon request.
