COMMENTS:  rare to get a set of possum mandibles. Six good teeth on each jaw.  Sink hole protected this delicate fossil, no river currents to roll it around.  Well silicified, guaranteed to be a fossil.  Not same animal as f559, although from same site. Jaws were held together with light rubber cement for pics, not currently together, but very easily glued back together.
