COMMENTS: an interesting point and difficult to type.
The recurvate base and bevels suggest a Florida Sidenotched Bolen.
It has characteristics of Schroder's Pine Tree Auriculate (p.37) but exhibits
secondary edge work, and it also resembles the Taylor Side Notched.
Definitely a fine piece from long ago, with great color and patina.

COMMENTS: very thin for a Greenbriar, has some large percussion flakes
knocked out of it but I think this was done during manufacture, there is no
recent damage. Very nice classical Osceola base. These don't come up
for sale too often. .
